MINIMUM DoD REQUIREMENT |
| Hepatitis B |
3 doses of Hepatitis B are required. |
| DPT |
4 doses given singly or in combination, at least one of which was administered after the 4th birthday. |
| Td Booster |
Tetanus booster needed between 11-12 years of age or 5 years after the 4th dose and then every 10 years thereafter. |
| Hepatitis A |
2 doses. HepA is recommended for all children at 1 year of age and the 2 doses in the series should be administered at least 6 months apart. |
| MMR |
2 doses of live attenuated vaccine given singly or in combination at least one of which was administered after the 4th bs irthday. |
| Varicella |
All unvaccinated students who lack a reliable history of chickenpox should be vaccinated. Students 13 years or older should receive 2 doses at least one month apart if not previously vaccinated or did not have chickenpox. |
| Polio |
3 doses of Polio vaccine (OPV or IPV), the last one which must have been administered after the 4th birthday. |
| PPD/IPPD |
All students attending DoDEA schools in Korea will be tested yearly for tuberculosis. |
| Meningococcal |
(MCV4) should be given to all children at the 11-12 year old . |
