The Osan School Bus Office (SBO) located at the Osan American High School in room A-112 is here to serve your community with safe and reliable student transportation services. Some of our duties include coordinating transportation for daily commuting, extra-curricular events (sporting events...etc), curricular events (required field trips), after school activity buses, the cooperative work experience program, and transportation for special needs students. We provide safety training to preschool-grade 6 students and develop inclement weather response plans. The Osan SBO conducts safety/operation inspections on all buses, bus routes, bus stops, and established walking zones. We also work closely with school administrators and military commands to establish commuting/walking zones, and investigate/resolve all student misconduct concerns on our vehicles.
STUDENT TRANSPORTATION ANNOUNCEMENTS
Parents/Sponsors are reminded that:
a) The Osan school bus office is open from 0800-1600 daily (Monday-Friday) and closed on all U. S. legal holidays.
b) To register for transportation you will need to bring a copy of the form 600 which you will receive from the school registrar.
c) For safety and security reasons students are required to show a bus pass when entering the bus to/from school, and are only authorized to ride their assigned bus route.
d) Please consult the base housing office representative for details on your walking/commuting zones prior to entering into a rental agreement. Normally, the walking distance should not exceed 1 mile for students in kindergarten through grade 6 and 1.5 miles for student's grades 7 through 12.
